Admix +
F.i. Admix + liquid polymer admixture is designed to enhance the performance of cement-based tile adhesives, mortars, grouts, renders, and levelling compounds. When used in place of water, this additive improves flexibility, adhesion, strength, and water resistance of cementitious systems. It is suitable for internal and external applications where improved durability and performance is required.

Where it is used
- Tile adhesive modification
- Cement screeds, cement slurries and mortar beds
- Renders and patching mortars
- Levelling compounds
- Installation of ceramic tiles, porcelain, natural stone, and brick
- Applications subject to light movement, vibration, or thermal change
- Wet areas and external installations
Application
| Tile adhesives | Use 1.1 litres of Admix + in place of 1 litre of water. |
|---|---|
| Cement slurries | Prepare 10 litres of Admix + with 20 kg of general purpose cement. |
| Screeds · bagged | Approximately 2–2.2 litres of Admix + per 20 kg bag. |
| Screeds · site blend | 1 part Admix + : 1 part GP cement : 3–4 parts sand, by volume. |
| Renders · bagged | Approximately 2.5–3 litres of Admix + per 20 kg bag. |
| Renders · site blend | 1.5 parts Admix + : 1 part GP cement : 3–5 parts sand, by volume. |
| Storage | Store in original unopened containers. Protect from heat and frost. |
Limitations
- Do not dilute
- Not a substitute for a waterproofing membrane
- Not suitable for use over dimensionally unstable substrates
- Not suitable over contaminated, weak, or unsound substrates
- Not for covering or bridging over cold, construction, control or expansion joints
- For areas subject to rising damp or negative hydrostatic pressure, prepare with F.i. Vapour Barrier
- Not to be applied below 8 °C or above 35 °C
- Protect from rain and moisture during curing
- Environmental conditions, temperature and humidity, will affect performance
